The Guardian ha detto la sua, e la cosa sta facendo molto discutere. A dire il vero non potrebbe essere altrimenti, dato che nella sua classifica delle 100 migliori serie tv di sempre (a onor del vero, tv shows per estensione, poichè in questa classifica sono stati inseriti anche alcuni programmi, documentari e reality show che abbiano una natura continuativa) mancano davvero un’infinità di pezzi grossi. E alcuni di quelli che ci sono, sembrano oggettivamente fuori posto. Tanto per fare un esempio, un gigantesco pezzo di storia delle serie tv come Lost non può stare mai a nostro parere così basso in classifica. Ma Lost non è certo la serie a cui è andata peggio nella classifica stilata da The Guardian. Di altri giganti assoluti della storia seriale non v’è nemmeno traccia. Finiscono fuori dalla top 100 di The Guardian colossi come Friends, Sons of Anarchy, Dexter, Prison Break, How I Met Your Mother e The Big Bang Theory, ma anche alcune tra le serie tv più in voga degli ultimi anni come Vikings o Peaky Blinders. Fuori anche Stranger Things. La lista degli esclusi eccellenti è in realtà molto più lunga di così, e ve la lasciamo scoprire da soli. I primissimi posti, al netto di qualche preferenza soggettiva, possono essere anche tendenzialmente condivisibili (con un intruso, forse). Ma il resto della classifica è quantomeno discutibile.
