Golden Globe Awards 2023: la Hollywood Foreign Press ha appena annunciato i candidati nelle categorie dedicate al cinema e alle serie tv. L’annuncio è stato presentato da George Lopez e Mayan Lopez, protagonisti della sitcom Lopez vs. Lopez. I film che hanno ricevuto più candidature nelle varie categorie sono Babylon, Elvis, Avatar: The Way of Water, The Fabelmans,Tár e Top Gun: Maverick. Tra le pellicole nominate anche alcuni dei migliori film di Netflix arrivati quest’anno sulla piattaforma come Blonde, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery e White Noise.
Per quanto riguarda il mondo seriale, tra le serie che la Hollywood Foreign Press Association ha deciso di candidare ai Golden Globe Awards 2023 ci sono tanti ritorni e diverse novità. Anche nell’ottantesima edizione della premiazione hanno fatto incetta di nomination serie tv come The White Lotus, Only Murders in the Building, The Crown e Better Call Saul. Tra gli show, che hanno debuttato quest’anno, hanno conquistato diverse candidature The Bear, House of the Dragon e Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story. A sorpresa ha ottenuto molte nomination anche la miniserie Pam & Tommy che ha raccontato l’incredibile storia vera della diffusione del sextape della coppia.
La 80esima edizione dei Golden Globe Awards si terrà il 10 gennaio e sarà presentata dal comico e regista Jerrod Carmichael, che proprio quest’anno ha vinto un Emmy grazie al suo spettacolo Jerrod Carmichael: Rothaniel. Dopo gli scandali dello scorso anno, che hanno spinto la NBC a non trasmettere la cerimonia di premiazione, i Golden Globe Awards nel 2023 tornano a casa. La cerimonia sarà quindi trasmessa sulla NBC in diretta dall’hotel Beverly Hilton di Beverly Hills, in California. Qui da noi molto probabilmente la cerimonia potrà essere seguita su Sky.
